We are currently experiencing an issue with our SQL Servers. Every once in few days, our SQL Server 2016 which is running on a clustered Windows Server 2012 R2 environment will fail to respond on port 1433. All new connections to the SQL Server will be rejected. When this issues occurs, we are able to PING the server but we are unable to telnet to port 1433. Existing SSMS connections to the server will still function as normal but will will slow down. New connections will be rejected.
I didnt find the right solution from the Internet.
